CT is one of the types of radiological examinations and uses X-ray radiation. It is a fast and painless diagnostic imaging technique used for detecting and assessing the location and extent of lesions in specific organs and tissues.

Thanks to its extensive technical capabilities and state-of-the-art software, our CT scanner enables efficient and effective diagnostic evaluation, including the following examinations:

  • head CT (brain, craniofacial region, paranasal sinuses)
  • neck CT
  • chest CT (with lung parenchyma evaluation, mediastinal structures, chest wall)
  • CT of the abdomen and lesser pelvis (including multiphase CT of the liver and pancreas, multiphase CT of the urinary tract with urographic phase)
  • CT of bones and joints
  • CT of the spine
  • angiography

The CT Laboratory at St. Raphael’s Hospital is equipped with a 32-row scanner (Siemens – Somatom go. Up)

  • Mon. – Fri. 7:20 am – 8:40 pm
