The Spine Surgery Subdepartment specialises in the surgical treatment of diseases of the spine and spinal cord.

Services:

• minimally invasive, microscopic disc surgeries: cervical, lumbar, thoracic disc herniation
• surgical procedures for degenerative spinal conditions (spinal stenosis, spondylolisthesis)
• spinal stabilisation procedures (in trauma, cancer, spondyloarthritis, spondylolisthesis, spinal instability)
• peripheral nerve surgeries: carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar tunnel syndrome
• neuro-oncological operations on tumours of the spine, spinal canal and peripheral nerves, performed as part of the oncology package
• radiofrequency ablation for pain relief (destruction of sensory nerves)
